Located north of Lake Erie, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent in Ontario is home to over 100,000 residents and is defined as all of Kent County.
To better serve their community, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent sought a modernized budgeting solution capable of streamlining their budgeting process, while allowing for efficient multi-year budgeting, and personnel planning. Their current budgeting tool fell short of expectations and lacked the functionality necessary to maximize their budget lifecycle.
Their preferred budget solution would also allow for increased data transparency, alongside seamless integration with their current ERP system — JD Edwards.
In partnership with Questica Budget, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent has acquired a modernized budgeting solution that allows for efficient budgeting workflows, optimized personal budget management, and full data transparency — a significant upgrade from their former budgeting tool.
The city is also working toward full integration with their JD Edwards ERP system for a unified budgeting process.
